Driving to Blue Mountain!
(It's easier than it seems!)
The Blue Mountain Village is located at: 156 Jozo Weider Blvd, The Blue Mountains, ON L9Y 3Z2
If you're the brave sort that drives without the help of GPS or Google Maps, Blue Mountain has some excellent directions on their website here.
YetiCon indoor activities are held in the Blue Mountain Village Conference Centre. The Village Conference Centre is completely wheelchair accessible!
Summerbound will be running shuttle bus transportation from Toronto directly to Blue Mountain Resort for YetiCon 2018! Summerbound was recently purchased by a new company, so details are a little different from last year, please read on for important new information!
To reserve your bus seat you will be required to pay up front, seats are extremely limited and the price is $45+HST for the round trip (departing from Toronto Friday at 3:00PM, leaving from Blue Mountain Sunday at 5:30PM). To book your seat please email firstname.lastname@example.org with your name, phone number, credit card number, expiration date, CVV (the numbers on the back of the card), and the postal code associated with the card. Visa, Mastercard, and Amex are accepted, and all these details must be available as they use Square to process payments. If you prefer you may also call Summerbound at: 705-446-5824, Monday to Friday between 9AM to 4PM.
Summerbound is asking all riders to arrive early and be prepared to board, as the bus will be arriving at 3:00PM and departing immediately after all passengers have boarded. The pick-up location from Toronto is 7 Bishop Avenue, which is less than a 5 minute walk from Finch Station (please google maps 7 Bishop Avenue, North York if you are unsure where this is). Returning from Blue Mountain on Sunday at 5:30PM the Bus will be loading at the Blue Mountain Inn for passengers staying there, and at The Grand Georgian for passengers staying in The Village. Please arrive early as the bus will be departing promptly once waiting passengers are on board, we don't want anyone to miss the bus!
Additionally, Greyhound does have transportation from Toronto to Collingwood (the town Blue Mountain directly borders) where you can take a short trip via taxi/uber to the resort.
Summerbound transportation can also be chartered privately from the GTA directly to Blue Mountain. However, it can be costly if you do not have a group to split it with.
If those options are unappealing, and you are still unable to catch a ride, you may want to look into carpooling or ride-sharing to get directly to the resort.
